About the Intertwined Project

Intertwined is a project of the Espiral Nucleus that offers guidance, case discussions, and emotional technical support for professionals who deal with situations of violence—direct or indirect—in their daily work.

Dealing with situations of violence requires technical preparation, ethical awareness, and emotional care. Many professionals seek:

How to handle complex cases

How to deal with ethical limits

How to welcome without getting sick

How to act in emergency situations

How to strengthen bonds and reduce damage

How to work prevention

Intertwined offers exactly that:
specialized guidance, peer exchange, and emotional support so that no one has to act alone.

Here, psychologists, students, educators, social workers, and other professionals find a trustworthy environment to reflect on management, strengthen practice, and care for themselves, while helping to transform realities.
Why do professionals need support to deal with cases of violence?

Data from Brazil shows the magnitude of the challenge. Discussing cases offers more security, clarity, and support for those on the front lines.

274,299 reports of violence against children and adolescents in 2024

Brazil recorded nearly 275,000 reports of violence against children and adolescents in the last year alone—a sign that the demand for support, care, and technical intervention has never been higher.

71% of reports
of violence against children and adolescents are committed within the home

Violence occurs predominantly within the family environment, requiring professionals trained to provide ethical and careful support and guidance.

42% of women
who suffered violence say their children witnessed the aggression

Children exposed to violence need specialized care, which increases the demand for trained professionals.

To support our work and strengthen those who care

We work with the five conceptual pillars of the Espiral Method, which guide all our practices, projects, and training.

The Espiral Method was born from the need to activate protective factors, expand internal resources, and cultivate a new way of looking at individual and collective commitment in the prevention of violence. It fosters more secure bonds, more responsible decisions, and care experiences that transform realities.

It is this sensitive, responsible, and deeply committed way of working with protection that guides every meeting, every project, and every course at Núcleo Espiral.

The five pillars that make up the Espiral Method are:

Resilience

Strengthen your internal resources to face violence, transforming challenges and pain into learning and strength.
